Happy December!
How is it the last month of the year and we are fastly ticking towards a new year?
Three years ago, I sat each morning writing the book Uncommon Christmas. This
book is different. It’s the first book, where I prayed before writing each chapter, and I
flipped through the Bible, sharing the message I felt the Holy Spirit laid on my heart.
“This is my favorite book that you have written.” My friend said as I left her house.
I knew why. Even though I love all my books, and I really do believe I was
obedient in writing what I was called to write, this one I read and I’m like, how did I see
that? Or think that? I know how. And so I think there is a reason it’s a favorite of many.
Uncommon Christmas has also changed my Decembers. They are slow. Not
overwhelming. It’s a different pace I didn’t know before. I can see the nativity and
Christmas story at the center instead of the world.
If you are weary or dread this month, will you join me for an Uncommon Christmas?
On Facebook (here), I’m sharing the Uncommon Christmas chapters. If you want
your own copy, you can buy it (here). 20% off if you use the code FAITH.
It’s my prayer that this December is one for change. One that is restful, and Christ is your focus.
Blessings,
Stephanie
